I'm a clinical psychologist and life/executive coach. My passion is to help people achieve a greater level of happiness, effectiveness and meaning.
In addition to working with people individually, I enjoy educating the public, via writing and speaking, on how to manage life's problems. Among my many publications is the second edition of my self-help book, Taming Your Inner Brat: A Guide for Transforming Self-defeating Behavior and a chapter in 101 Great Ways to Improve Your Life, Vol 2.
I'm on the board of the Division of Media Psychology (American Psychological Association,) and have run workshops for mental health professionals on how to work with the Media. I'm also a two-time winner of Pennsylvania Psychological Association's "Psychologist in the Media" award.
I've appeared on national TV and radio and am frequently quoted in popular magazines.
